Half a century has passed since Damaso Ruano (representative artist of the abstraction in Malaga) mounted its first study on a rooftop next to the medina of Tetouan. On the one hand he reflected in his work the people and their simple life, their customs and the color of landscape, on the other hand he contributed to the fruitful artistic movement around the so-called School of Tetouan.
